Dr. Alexander Alcaraz earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He attended Harvard University to earn his degree in dental medicine (Class of 2005). Although he loved the experience of living in Boston, the warmer days in California and being close to his loved ones was too hard to resist. He moved back to California and obtained his certificate in pediatric dentistry at the university of southern california. during his program, he worked at children’s hospital los angeles specializing in the oral health care of medically compromised children.
Dr. Alcaraz currently is an assistant professor at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry, Advance Pediatric Dental Program. He is serving as the President of Pediatric Dental Association/USC. Dr. Alcaraz is very active with the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and has been serving on the Board of Directors for the past five years. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
